Salary: £18,805 – £19,747 per annum
Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract: Fixed term until 30 November 2018, with possibility of extension

Red Cross has a vacancy for Outreach Co-ordinator within its Refugee Support team. The Outreach Co-ordinator is responsible for managing and developing support services to refugees and asylum seekers both in Red Cross’s drop-in centres and through partnerships with other support organisations.

The outreach work provides signposting to local support services and basic advice and information to newly arrived asylum seekers and refugees in targeted areas of Merseyside. The Red Cross supports refugees in a wide variety of ways, such as offering emergency food and clothes to those facing severe hardship and offering friendly advice to the most vulnerable. The Refugee Support and Restoring Family Links team is present at every stage on the migratory trail.
