Salary: £34,538 per annum
Hours: Full-time – 35 hours per week
Drawing on over 30 years’ experience of refugee resettlement, Refugee Action are working with Liverpool City Region as part of the Syrian Vulnerable Persons resettlement scheme to welcome refugees.
Are you managing services for vulnerable people? In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the delivery of high quality and responsive services to refugees.
Based in Liverpool you will lead a team in the Liverpool City Region. You will have excellent management skills and experience of providing support to staff and volunteers in an emotionally demanding environment. Using your strong leadership skills, you’ll be able to motivate, empower and get the best from your team. Building effective partnerships with commissioners and other key stakeholders, you will work collaboratively to ensure that refugees get the best possible support.
You will also have:
- Insight into the needs, hopes and experiences of resettled refugees
- Understanding of the global context around, and the UK’s role in, resettlement
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Excellent financial and contract management skills, especially relating to services with complex financial auditing requirements
