The Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeship is a brand new, exciting opportunity being offered by Alder Hey children’s hospital. It is a four-year, field specific training programme leading to a degree in nursing and entry onto the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) professional register.

The programme is supported by the University of Central Lancashire and combines academic learning and on-the-job training at Alder Hey. Apprentices will be employed for 30 hours a week and paid £19,737-£21,142 (pro-rata).

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, they will be eligible to be appointed in the role of Band 5 Registered Nurse at Alder Hey.
