The Roots & Wings Leadership Programme 2023 (led by Taking Shape & Mandela8) is about to start, and they would like to invite you to share this opportunity to young people you know.
During this 12-week programme young people will be guided through sessions which incorporate elements of disciplines such as martial arts, drama & self-development – to foster skills in discipline, teamwork, respect and both personal & societal responsibility.
A range of specialist tutors will be dedicated to enriching participants’ experience throughout, providing support and guidance to match their needs. Whilst each session is fun packed, they will also have a solid foundation of self-exploration, which they deem as paramount for personal growth.
Sessions will take place each Thursday evening from 20 April 2023, at the Everyman Theatre, L1 9BH & Liverpool Arts Bar, L1 9BY. It will include motivational talks as well as an excursion focused on Liverpool’s rich history. It will provide a well-rounded and multi-factorial approach.
