Sahir House – CEO

Sahir House has been recognised as one of the best small health charities in the country and has recently expanded its charitable objects to reflect its experience in engaging with and supporting not just people living with HIV, but also LGBT+ people and those seeking asylum.

The current CEO is moving on, so Sahir House is now recruiting a suitably experienced CEO to guide the charity through its next stage of development. In particular they are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

· Strategic awareness and the ability to lead an organisation through a period of change

· A strong track record of securing funding from charitable trusts and foundations, service level agreements and contracts with statutory agencies, fundraising and the generation of income from training / trading activities.

· A commitment to equality, diversity, equity and social justice

Sahir House welcomes diversity and encourages applications from all sections of the community. The charity especially invites applications from groups which reflect the diverse nature of the Sahir House service user population – HIV positive people, people from BAME groups, LGBT+ people and those from refugee / asylum seeking communities.
