They do this through their 1:1 support service, counselling, peer support groups, their online community, community engagement, outreach programmes, partnerships and more.
Job Details
This is a unique opportunity for a passionate and community-minded person to continue to develop their skills within their evolving regional charity as a BACP Registered Counsellor.
What are they looking for?
- Recognised Counselling Diploma qualification (Level 4) or higher
- BACP/UKCP/ NCS or equivalent Registration is ESSENTIAL – BACP Individual or Student Membership cannot be accepted
- Working towards accreditation is preferred
- Diverse and varied experience of providing counselling to different service users with a range of presenting issues and experience of working with complex cases
- Strong, professional and personal drive
- Empathic, compassionate and responsive
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated.
