Salary: circa £46,313.00 (Including NI & Pension)

Description:

Savera UK is a registered charity (No. 1145564), and a leading specialist organisation providing services to anyone at risk of honour-based abuse or other harmful practices including female genital mutilation (FGM) and forced marriage.

Occupational requirement under Schedule 9 (part 1) of the Equality Act 2010, the post holder must be female in accordance with the Sex Discrimination Act, 1975 Part 7.

Job summary:

The Chief Executive Officer of Savera UK, in partnership with the Board, is responsible for the success of Savera UK. Together, the Board and Chief Executive Officer assure Savera UK’s relevance to the community, the accomplishment of Savera UK’s mission and vision, and the accountability of Savera UK to its diverse constituents. The Board delegates responsibility for management, and day-to-day operations, to the Chief Executive Officer, and they have the authority to carry out these responsibilities, in accordance with the direction and policies established by the Board. The Chief Executive Officer provides direction and enabling to the Board as it carries out its governance functions.
