Fee: £10 per hour
Hours: 12 hours per week, shift pattern – Friday’s 11.45am–5.45pm (6 hours) and flexible on remaining 6 hours to be worked any day Monday-Thursday and/or possibly an occasional Saturday
Contract: 50 weeks, with a possibility to extend for a further period
Dingle Multi-Agency Centre Ltd, the charity that own and manage Toxteth Town Hall Community Resource Centre, is advertising a freelance opportunity to a sessional activity co-ordinator, funded by John Moores Foundation. The purpose of the role is to develop, co-ordinate and deliver the charity’s community activity programme.
Main tasks include:
- Planning, co-ordination and delivery of the charities own programme of activity and events
- Assist with the development of the activity programme
- Line management and development of volunteers; assist in the recruitment, induction, support and supervision, development and training needs etc. and keep effective records
- Marketing of the activity programme using various marketing methods e.g. face-to-face, digital, publications, mail etc. to encourage participation and attendance at courses, activities, clubs and events etc.
- Attend meetings with stakeholders, the board, staff team and networking events
- Assisting the board in fundraising and making grant applications to support programme delivery
- Assist with the monitoring and evaluation of the charity’s activity programme
