Resettlement Triage Worker – HMP Liverpool
Closing date: Wednesday 5 December 2018 at 11.30pm
Shelter are looking for someone with a passion to work with offenders in a custodial setting to join their Through the Gate team at HMP Liverpool as a Resettlement Triage Worker.
Shelter helps millions of people every year struggling with bad housing or homelessness through their advice, support and legal services. They campaign to make sure that, one day, no one will have to turn to them for help. They are here so no-one has to fight bad housing or homelessness on their own.
As part of Transforming Rehabilitation, Shelter has been contracted to deliver housing, finance and debt advice in prisons across the North West. The service will consist of a Through the Gate Resettlement Team based on site delivering advice via the new Resettlement Planning process. It will work closely with a wealth of other agencies and workers too, including CRC staff, prison officers and staff, statutory and voluntary agencies; probation staff and agencies external to the prison environment. This is your chance to play an important role.
