South Liverpool Domestic Abuse Services – Projects & Engagement Worker

Contract: Funded to June 2023.
Salary: NJC Scale 5, points 14-17 depending on experience, £23,080 – £24,491 pro-rata.
Hours per week: 24 hours per week.
Reporting to: Board of Trustees.
Location: Venues in South Liverpool.

South Liverpool Domestic Abuse Services (SLDAS) is an independent charity offering free and accessible support to women who are experiencing, or have experienced, domestic abuse in South and South-Central Liverpool.

Job details:

  • Work with SLDAS Services Co-ordinators & trained volunteers to provide access to a full range of SLDAS services for women from marginalised communities, through the delivery of outreach sessions in discreet local venues.
  • Promote volunteering opportunities amongst potential volunteers, particularly amongst Black & minoritised women under-represented in the organisation, by working with partners and key women active in diverse communities.
  • Use creative and engaging methods with women from local communities concerned about the issues of domestic abuse and Violence Against Women & Girls for evaluation and development of SLDAS services and programmes.
