South Liverpool Domestic Abuse Services is Looking for Volunteers

South Liverpool Domestic Abuse Services (SLDAS) are looking for new volunteers.

The role is for voluntary support workers, minimum half a day per week. The role will consist office administration and taking calls from service users. Once experienced, the volunteers support worker is able to do other roles such as one-to-one emotional support and co-facilitation of training courses that are delivered to service users.

In order to be a voluntary support worker you will need to attend our accredited training.

Level 1 Training – Domestic Abuse Awareness which will commence on 9 November 2017 for 5 weeks. It will take place at Bridge Chapel, 9.30am-2.30pm. Travel expenses and lunch allowance will be provided.

Level 2 Training – Effects of Domestic Abuse on Women and Children will commence on 25 January 2018 and will last for 7 weeks. Times of course and expenses will be the same as Level 1.
