Speak Out! Stop Hate. Train the Trainer Sessions

Anthony Walker Foundation and Agent Academy are working in partnership on a new campaign to raise awareness of and tackle hate crime.

Speak out stop hate flyerSpeak Out! Stop Hate. is a vital new initiative to tackle and prevent racially and religiously discriminatory behaviour and those acting against others because of their race or faith.

In 2020 the Anthony Walker Foundation saw a 126% increase in people accessing support across Merseyside. The Speak Out! Stop Hate. project consists of a new hate crime reporting tool, a young people-led digital marketing campaign, and the delivery of a host of education and training opportunities to raise knowledge and confidence when tackling hate crime in the Liverpool City Region.

The Speak Out! Stop Hate. training aims to support communities and professionals to report hate crime, while providing improved awareness/understanding of consequences/impact of hate crime, and support transformation of prejudicial views, ignorance and faulty perceptions and beliefs.

Once the training is complete each participant will be able to access the Speak Out! Stop Hate. tool kit to aid in their delivery of sessions to young people in their communities.

Multiple dates are available to take part in this training session during April 2021. Sessions are free to attend, funded funded through the Race and Faith Grant scheme, run by the Ministry for Housing Communities and Local Government.

See the list of dates and register your place via Eventbrite.
