Support for young people struggling with self-harm

Alumina offers support for 14-19 year olds struggling with self-harm, in the form of a free, online, seven week course.

Each course accommodates up to 8 young people, who all access the sessions from their own phones, tablets or laptops, from anywhere in the UK.

Courses take place on different evenings of the week and are run by friendly, trained counsellors and volunteer youth workers. Young people don’t need an adult to refer them or sign them up, and no-one will see or hear them during the sessions – they simply just join in via the chatbox.

Alumina aims to help young people find their next steps towards recovery.
