Sustainable Warmth Fund

The Sustainable Warmth Fund is a government scheme that the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority has secured for local residents to make homes greener and warmer. It is also known as the Green Homes Grant.

What is the fund for?

The grant is available to help 700 households across Liverpool. It can be used to install a number of insulation and energy measures to residential homes. Some of these measures may include cavity wall insulation, loft insulation, under floor insulation, air source heat pumps, solar panels, and replacement windows and doors.

Who can apply?

You will need to meet the eligibility criteria listed below.

  • the gross household income must be below £30,000 per year
  • a property Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rated at E, F or G. Check your property Energy Performance Certificate rating. If your property does not have an EPC, you can still apply. If its found your EPC is A,B,C or D, you application will be cancelled.
