NCVO’s popular work-shadowing programme is back. It’s a unique opportunity for staff in the voluntary sector and government to step into each other’s shoes for a day and learn how the other side works.
These are the government departments taking part this year:
- Department for Communities and Local Government
- Department for Education
- Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs
- Department for Work and Pensions
- Home Office
- National Audit Office
A 2015 charity participant said: “I enjoyed the experience and would recommend it to people who want to step outside of their usual environment and see how another organisation and team works.”
