Tackling Loneliness Digitally – New British Red Cross Resources

British Red Cross has launched a new programme called Tackling Loneliness Digitally , funded by the Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS). It focusses on reaching young people, people from black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) communities, the digitally excluded, refugees, asylum seekers and other  vulnerable  migrants,  people at risk of loneliness due to health issues and older people.

As part of the programme, Red Cross has created a suite of online resources to help empower people who may be feeling lonely, by providing them with tools to build confidence, reach out to others and look to the future.

In addition to a range of online resources, the page also includes a helpline number that people can call if they are feeling lonely and would like to speak to someone.
