The Access Foundation | Get grants starting from £5K

Deadline: Open all year for Applications.

The Access Foundation was set up in 2021 following the success and growth enjoyed by The Access Group over the previous decade. While affiliated with the company in terms of its identity, The Access Foundation is a separate organisation, governed by an independent board of trustees and with its own objectives and goals.

For awarding grants, the Access Foundation focuses on charities which fit into one of their three funding pillars:

  • Digital Divide: Organisations that assist in the mitigation of the digital divide, by supporting disadvantaged and vulnerable people through digital education and resources
  • Charity of the Year: Charities who have been selected or shortlisted as The Access Group charities of the year, past or present, with specific projects or activities
  • Staff Sponsored: Organisations that a member of staff of The Access Group has experienced significant support from (either for themselves or a close relative).

While there is no definitive maximum or minimum value for the grants they will award, the expected ranges are different depending on the grant-giving objective as follows:

  • For grants awarded to the Access Group ‘Charities of the Year’, the foundation will generally award grants of between £5,000 and £80,000 depending on the size of the region within the group
  • For grants awarded to Access staff-sponsored charities, the foundation will generally awards grants in the region of £5,000.
