The Big Help Project would like to commemorate the 74th anniversary of the Empire Windrush arrival. Through a series of events, they will remember, recognise and celebrate the cultural, political, social and economic impact on our communities.
They’d greatly welcome input from; speakers, poets, musicians, artists and other community figures to help capture the stories, insights and perspectives on the impact of HMS Windrush’s arrival and the history surrounding it.
Events will run between 27 June and 1 July at venues across L6 and L8.
Expenses will be reimbursed!
