Hours per week: 37.5 hours.
Days per week: 9 AM – 5 PM from Monday to Friday.
Reporting to: Head of Comms & Fundraising.
Location: The Brain Charity, Norton Street, Liverpool L3 8LR.

There are hundreds of different neurological conditions including stroke, brain tumour, brain injury, Alzheimer’s disease and many rarer ones too.

The Brain Charity offers emotional support, practical help and social activities to anyone with a neurological condition and to their family, friends and carers.

Job Details

They are really pleased to say that The Brain Charity is growing year on year. They are now looking to expand their communications team.

The overall purpose of the role of Communications & Campaigns Officer is to bring about tangible and positive change to the lives of people with neurological conditions by:

  • Raising awareness of their work via a variety of communications methods, which is vital in order to maximise donations and fundraising to fund their vital front-line services, and so their clients know what support they can access.
  • Identifying key areas for campaigning, creating strategies and designing and delivering campaigns to deliver equality for people with neurological conditions.
  • Assisting with the coordination of The Brain Charity’s neurodiversity training, which supports organisations to understand what neurodiversity is and how to support neurodivergent staff in the workplace.
