Life for any of us can change in an instant. Experiencing a road traffic accident, a major stroke or being diagnosed with dementia can happen completely unexpectedly and can change our lives forever.

There are hundreds of different neurological conditions including stroke, brain tumour, brain injury, Alzheimer’s disease and many rarer ones too.

The Brain Charity offers emotional support, practical help and social activities to anyone with a neurological condition and to their family, friends and carers.

Job Description

One of the biggest barriers that stands between disabled individuals and their ability to work is a lack of confidence. The Brain Charity has recently been awarded funding from Mersey Care Life Rooms to deliver a new project, The Value Of You, which will aim to improve and increase self-confidence, esteem and independence amongst their client group.

Working as part of the Employment and Welfare Team, the Confidence Coach will deliver both one-on-one sessions and group workshops with clients to build and develop confidence using a range of coaching techniques to develop trust, motivate and empower.
