Role Summary
We are seeking a confidence coach who will work one-on-one with our service users to improve their confidence, in order to boost their chances of gaining work.
We are looking for a motivational individual with strong communication skills who can access a wide range of techniques and services which encourage people to make the necessary changes to their mindset to reach their full potential.
About The Brain Charity
The Brain Charity offers emotional support, practical help and social activities to anyone with a neurological condition and to their family, friends and carers.
There are hundreds of different neurological conditions including stroke, brain tumour, brain injury, Alzheimer’s disease and many rarer conditions. We are there for every single one of them.
The Brain Charity has recently been successful in winning funding for several new areas of work including two new major employment projects. Our Directions & New Horizons projects, funded by the European Social Fund, are designed to support adults with multiple and complex barriers to work to enter the labour market.
We recognise that the pandemic has hit our service users hard, and that many of those we are here to support now face unemployment, financial difficulties and mental health issues.
Because of these reasons, we are expanding our front-line team.

We are an award-winning charity and have recently received The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service, the highest accolade given by the Crown to Third Sector organisations.
