The Brain Charity – Head of Finance, Assets & Quality

Salary: £31,512 per annum (+10% pension after successful completion of probationary period).

Contract: Permanent.

Base: The Brain Charity, Norton Street, Liverpool. L3 8LR.

Hours: 37.5 per week.

 

Life for any of us can change in an instant. Experiencing a road traffic accident, a major stroke or being diagnosed with dementia can happen completely unexpectedly and can change our lives forever. There are hundreds of different neurological conditions including stroke, brain tumour, brain injury, Alzheimer’s disease and many rarer ones too. The Brain Charity offers emotional support, practical help and social activities to anyone with a neurological condition and to their family, friends and carers.

 

Role Summary

We are really pleased to say The Brain Charity is growing year on year and we are now seeking an individual with a strong background in either finance, human resources, quality or governance to deliver key elements of our corporate strategy and help take our organisation to the next level.

With overall responsibility for managing our finances, developing our human resources and protecting our assets you will manage, motivate and lead a team of dedicated staff and volunteers enabling the charity to grow and develop as a nationally recognised award winning organisation. By raising quality levels throughout the organisation you will be instrumental in supporting the organisation to deliver excellent services to some of the most vulnerable members of our society. We are seeking a data-driven and highly organised individual with a keen eye for detail to join our team.

 

We are an award-winning charity and have recently received The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service, the highest accolade given by the Crown to Third Sector organisations.
