Reporting to: Adelaide House Chief Operations Officer.

Adelaide House is an 18-bed, award-winning, Female Independent Approved Premises managed by a charity with a Christian foundation, The Liverpool Church of England Council for Social Aid. Adelaide House delivers high quality, female-centred, needs-led, holistic accommodation, supervision and rehabilitation, for post-release prison-leavers. One of only 8 such facilities in the country, they work closely with partner agencies to manage risk and support women to make positive changes to their lives.

Job Summary

Are you an experienced administrator with a knack for managing both numbers and operations? Do you thrive in a busy environment where your multitasking abilities and attention to detail are key? Do you want to make a real difference, working at the heart of a charity team that supports women on release from prison?

If so, they have an exciting opportunity for you to join them in a key role as their female Finance and Facilities Administrator (Sex Discrimination Act 1975, Section 75 (2) (e)) This is a varied and vital role that combines finance, administration support and facilities management. They’re looking for a confident, self-starting individual with the skills to a take lead in these areas and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. You will play a key role in maintaining financial records, providing administrative support to their senior team, managing health and safety requirements, and optimising facilities.

What they’re looking for:

  • Solid experience in financial administration, including use of SAGE
  • Facilities management experience, including health and safety
  • Excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and prioritise effectively
  • An understanding of or experience of working within the criminal justice system is desirable but not essential.
