The National Lottery Heritage Fund – Committee Member for England: North

Vacancy Type: Committee Member
Location: North of England.

Job Summary

The National Lottery Heritage Fund – Leading, Inspiring and Resourcing the UK’s Heritage

The National Lottery Heritage Fund is the largest funder of the UK’s heritage. The projects they fund create lasting and positive change for people and communities and they believe that heritage has a crucial role to play in contributing to a more equal society.

They are currently recruiting for two new Committee members to join the Committee for the North from April 2024.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with an enthusiasm and commitment to heritage and the good outcomes that heritage delivers for communities and people to become involved in the Fund’s work. The role will give you experience in grant-giving, consensual decision-making. As one of the only UK-wide Lottery funders, being a Committee member will give you a unique insight into how a national organisation works and give you experience of working towards one national strategy whilst also striving to achieve local priorities.

If you are excited about helping ensure that heritage is inclusive and accessible to everyone, for now and future generations, then they want to hear from you.

Deadline: 31 December 2023.

Interviews are expected to take place on 13 February 2024.
