YPAS is proudly supporting the delivery of the Rainbow Flag Award locally and they are now recruiting for their next cohort.
The Rainbow Flag Award is a national quality assurance framework that has a focus on positive LGBT+ inclusion and visibility, for settings where young people exist. This includes:
- Primary Schools
- Secondary Schools
- SEND Schools
- Alternative provisions
- FE colleges
- Youth services
- Youth clubs
- Uniformed organisations
- Other youth focused organisations
The Rainbow Flag Award encourages a whole organisation approach to LGBT+ inclusion, as well as developing strategies to effectively challenge and combat LGBTphobic bullying.
