Salary: £18,000-£25,000 per annum, depending upon experience
Hours: 35 hours per week, 30 days annual leave (part time / flexible working hours will be considered)

The Reader is a dynamic national charity and social enterprise, head quartered in Liverpool. Since 2002, The Reader, has pioneered the use of Shared Reading to improve wellbeing, reduce isolation and build community resilience and connectedness across the UK and beyond.
This role calls for an exceptionally highly-motivated and dedicated person. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day operational management of The Reader Group’s finances. You will also supervise a Finance Apprentice.
This is a diverse role that requires an ability to maintain a financial overview, undertake day to day transactions and be adaptable to the needs of the organisation. This role will give you exposure to the full breadth of the management accounting function. The Reader is currently working towards in-house production of year-end production of financial accounts.
