The Women’s Organisation – Business Adviser – Sector Specialist

Salary Scale: £37,300 plus auto-enrolment pension contribution and 25 days holiday.
Reporting to: Head of Business Advice Plus.

The Women’s Organisation is the largest developer and deliverer of training and support for women in the UK. It has been driving the transformation of the business support ecosystem for over a quarter of a century to effectively support women who are starting and growing their own businesses in the Northwest of England, the wider UK and across the globe. They are currently expanding their diverse team.

The Women’s Organisation is looking for a team member who shares their values, is technically proficient and experienced but also has the ambition to grow with them on their journey. You will need to be a proactive and creative individual who can bring high-quality sector experience, knowledge, and excellence to their offer. You will need excellent verbal, written, facilitation, mentoring and presentation skills.

The ideal candidate will bring a well-developed understanding of the business growth support journey. You will be passionate about providing technical, coaching, and training support to people on their entrepreneurial journey and be deeply connected with the current business trends, challenges, and opportunities. You will support client businesses with growth advice and provide specialist support in one or more of the following sector areas – Business and Professional Services, IT, Digital, Health and Care, Leisure, Retail and Creative.

You will have worked with enterprising people and businesses providing one to one advice, coaching and/or group training/ facilitation across key business disciplines such as market research/assessments, marketing, talent acquisition/management, investment, financial management and innovation. You will help clients operating in these sectors to drive their strategic business growth. You will take a lead in redefining and innovating their sector support portfolio, developing, testing, and pilot programmes.
