The Women’s Organisation – Client Relationships and Engagement Adviser

Salary Scale: £24,000-£27,000.
Reporting to: Head of Marketing and Engagement.

They are currently operating on a hybrid approach to working, splitting time between their offices at 54 St James Street and home working.

The Women’s Organisation is a social enterprise that is the largest developer and deliverer of training and support for women in the UK.  It has been driving the transformation of the business support ecosystem for over a quarter of a century to effectively support women who are starting and growing their own businesses in the Northwest of England, the wider UK and across the globe. They are currently expanding their diverse team.

They are seeking a colleague for this new role that really cares about their client’s journey and experience. Even before a woman has heard about their organisation you will be influencing her journey through the strong relationships you forge out in the community and with key referral organisations. Along every step of her journey with them, you will ensure that she understands the scope of services available to her, both directly and in the wider community.  Throughout her time with The Women’s Organisation, you will be her constant, the person she can come back to for additional support, and to ensure her journey runs smoothly.

You will be the first port of call at The Women’s Organisation for women contacting them, providing that much-needed reassurance, needs assessment and access to a diverse package of internal and external support. You will have a well-developed knowledge of the current range of advice, training and support opportunities that women can access to facilitate their development

You will have worked in an engagement, customer relationship, outreach, or community development role placing the client’s needs at the centre of your thinking and practice. They are looking for someone who can reach out and engage with their clients using novel and effective tools and techniques to enable and attract women to access support services. They are looking to work with a proactive and creative individual who can bring innovation to their approach, a broad network, and the capability to transform and expand their reach. You will need excellent verbal, written, listening, and information analysis skills.

They are particularly interested in hearing from those who have a good working knowledge of the Halton community (though happy to hear from those willing to get to know the area). Maybe you live in Halton or have previously worked there and so have an understanding of the community and built relationships with organisations working there.

For the full job description and to apply, visit The Women’s Organisation website or contact their team via info@thewo.org.uk.

Closing date: 5 pm on Wednesday 13 October 2021.
