The Women’s Organisation – Projects Manager

Term: Permanent.
Salary: £28,000 – £37,500.
Days per week: Monday – Friday.
Reporting to: Operations Director.
Location: Liverpool, L1 0AB.

The Women’s Organisation is a social enterprise that is the largest developer and deliverer of training and support for women in the UK.  It has been driving the transformation of the business support ecosystem for over a quarter of a century to effectively support women who are starting and growing their own businesses in the Northwest of England, the wider UK and across the globe. They are currently expanding their diverse team.

Is this you?

  • Are you experienced in project management of European Structural and Investment Funded Projects (ESIF)?
  • Have you been involved in the monitoring, reporting and audit of projects?
  • Do you know your stuff and how to share it so others can understand stuff too?
  • Can you support an internal projects team and partner team members to be confident and capable to meet their project’s objective and desired impact?

If the answer is yes, you may be a match.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate coordination, leadership skills and capabilities and bring a well-developed understanding of the effective project monitoring, reporting, compliance, and audit of ESIF programmes.

You will be the key interface between their partnership and programme teams and the Leadership Team within the organisation.

You will be able to work with colleagues to review project delivery, quality and added value for clients. You will undertake final compliance and audit checks to ensure that robust and eligible claims are prepared that meet the commissioners needs and are ready for final sign off at senior level.

Working with the Partner Co-ordinators you will report regularly on partner and project performance to the SMT via regular reports and internal project meetings to enable effective partner and project management; partner performance in relation to activity and claims in line with their projected profile.

You will work closely and help guide the Partner Co-ordinator to undertake monthly monitoring and compliance partner checks, particularly in relation to ESIF (European Structural and Investment Funds) and other funded programmes; prepare Project Change Requests and respond to commissioner audit requests.
