The new Tiber Centre located off Tagus Street, Liverpool L8, was the idea of local young people with an ambition to ‘build world class facilities that raise aspirations; encourage and support young people to achieve their goals and get the best out of life’. This brand-new facility due to open early in 2025 will comprise a two storey, fully accessible building for focused youth activities with education and training rooms, indoor and outdoor event and performance spaces, football changing rooms and a basketball court, all located adjacent to Tiber’s 3G artificial turf pitch (which opened in September 2019).
The creation of this facility demonstrates the value of partnership between local community organisations Tiber, Tiber Enterprise and The Greenhouse Multi-Cultural Play and Arts Project and presents an exciting opportunity for unlocking the full potential of youth participation.
Job Summary
The Duty Manager will be responsible for supporting processes and procedures that will ensure the safe and cost-effective operation of the facilities at Tiber Football and Young People’s Centre; including its newly constructed building, 3G football pitch, basketball court and car park.
The post holder will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, managing the daily operation of the centre and maximising opportunities for promoting the facilities.
