TIDE is recruiting. Created by carers for carers, TIDE – Together in Dementia Every Day is a national involvement network for carers and former carers of people with dementia, hosted by Life Story Network CIC.
A core principle of tide is how carers and former carers of people living with dementia are valued, respected and supported. Using lived experience, TIDE enables a diverse range of carers to have a powerful collective voice, which raises awareness of their unique needs and rights, ensuring that these influence practice, policy and research at all levels.
The initial phased roll out of TIDE will cover the Liverpool City and Manchester City Regions and has been funded by the Big Lottery – Accelerating Ideas Programme.
The right candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and a qualification in Business Administration or similar would be an advantage, though not essential.
