Finance Training for Charity Trustees
Depending on the size of your organisation, trustees are either involved in the day-to-day finances or responsible for governance of the finance function. Each has its own difficulties and skill requirements, which this course is designed to address. There will be opportunity to examine accounts prepared by other charities, and to address specific questions and issues.
As part of this course, attendees will:
• Gain a deeper understanding of their financial responsibilities
• Be introduced to the legal requirements to maintaining financial records, producing accounts, and scrutiny thereof
• Explore the latest developments in charity accounting, taxation legislation, and best practice
This course is ideal for new or existing trustees.
