Insights on: Registering a Charity
This workshop is ideal for potential trustees, as well staff and volunteers who are considering setting up a charity and want to feel more confident about the process.
Our development officer Christina Dempsey will introduce you to how to go about:
- finding trustees
- setting out the charitable purpose
- choosing a name for your charity
- deciding your legal structure
- creating the governing document
- registering with Companies House and Charity Commission
Take the next step towards setting up your charity with confidence, and remember that LCVS is here to help you at every stage of the way.
LCVS Insights is a series of free workshops, designed to provide you with important information on key topics that could improve the impact of your organisation. Check our training calendar for more insight sessions.
