This course draws on LCVS’s extensive experience and insights in fundraising to provide guidance on applying for funding from the Garfield Weston Foundation.
The Garfield Weston Foundation supports a wide range of causes across the UK, including small community initiatives and large national organisations. Their primary funding priorities are the arts, education, youth, health, museums and heritage, community, environment, faith, and welfare.
Through this course, participants will gain:
- An understanding of the processes involved in applying for Garfield Weston funding.
- Skills to develop and present projects effectively.
- Insights on evidencing need and articulating project outcomes and impact.
- Techniques for writing high-quality funding applications.
Please note: This course is based on LCVS’s experience in supporting local voluntary sector organisations. Unless specifically stated, funder specific training courses are not endorsed or promoted by particular funders. Information about the fund can also be found on the Garfield Weston Foundation website.
Important Eligibility Information: Applicants must be registered charities. CICs and social enterprises are not eligible for funding.
Pricing:
- £90 for charities/voluntary sector
- £120 for private/public sector
Prices include refreshments and training materials where applicable. Full-day sessions include lunch.
