Mixtape Mondays is a free 8-week course in music production, songwriting & lyricism for 13-18 yr-olds. The course is being run by ‘theatre for social change’ non-profit Collective Encounters.
Got a song to sing? Beats to drop? Bars to spit?! Then get down to Mixtape Mondays with Collective Encounters.
You will work with leading musicians, lyricists & electronic music experts to create your own tracks & lyrics, whether you’re into hip hop, grime, folk, dub or anything in between!
Workshops will be online, but they will seek opportunities to perform pieces live at the end of the course if possible.
No computer or music software necessary. Collective Encounters can provide devices and data to help people access sessions. There is an opportunity to gain a Bronze Arts Award.
