Reaching Communities Update Workshop

Training Date: 27 February 2017
Registration is closed for this event
In January the Big Lottery announced changes to its stage one Reaching Communities application form and has re-emphasised key project design considerations relating to putting “people in the lead” and building on “community strengths and assets”.

If you are a Liverpool-based organisation working on a Reaching Communities proposal, or are planning to in the next few months, it is essential that you are aware of these changes and developments and they are reflected in your forthcoming submission to the Lottery.

We have teamed up with the Lottery, Liverpool City Council and Merseyside Network for Change to bring you this free workshop focusing on these changes to the Reaching Communities programme and help you to make a better and more competitive funding application. Participants will have the chance to hear about the changes from a Big Lottery representative, ask questions and consider how the new development will impact on their own project design.

This workshop is for fundraisers/bid writers for Liverpool-based organisations that have a track record in securing grant funding and are serious about applying for a Big Lottery Reaching Communities Grant in 2017-18.

Lunch will be provided.

This is a free event for Liverpool-based organisations only. Places are limited and we expect there to be a high level of demand, so please book early.
