Roles and Responsibilities of Board Members

Training Date: 13 February 2018
Registration is closed for this event
Not-for-profit organisations come in all shapes and sizes, including companies, trusts and associations. One uniting thing is that they are run by a governing body, ultimately responsible for the organisation.

It is important for members of the governing body – either trustees, directors or both – to be aware of their roles and responsibilities.

This training will cover:

  • Roles, responsibilities and legal obligations of being a Trustee/Director
  • Risk involved in running a charity/charitable company, and how to manage those risks

This course is ideal for current and potential trustees/directors, as well staff/volunteers running or considering running a charity/charitable company.
