Do you want to save money by making your own clothes or home furnishings? Do you enjoy sewing and want to brush up on your skills? Whether you have some experience or none – you can join the Sew Ur Path course. It is a FREE course for adults living in Liverpool who want to learn to sew, funded by the WEA.
The course will give you the chance to learn sewing and dressmaking skills to sew for pleasure and profit. It is open to people with no previous experience of dressmaking, and to those who wish to improve their existing sewing skills. It will offer 20 days of training over 10 weeks, it is designed to fit in around schooling hours.
Sew Ur Path is run by Back On Track and it will be held in their fully equipped dressmaking studio. The course will give you credits toward your Open Awards qualification.
Back On Track would like to hear from interested residents in Liverpool, who are over 19, who could find the course a useful route to employment or self-employment, or further training.
