Social Communication & Behaviour Workshop for families of primary school children (Years 3 – 6)

Hosted by the Liverpool ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) Training Team | 23 June 2022 | 9:30 am – 2 pm | Online (Zoom)

This workshop is a one-day training session for families of primary school children (Years 3 – 6), who have concerns that their child may have social communication and behaviour difficulties and possibly could be referred to The ASD Pathway.

It offers practical ideas and strategies to support your child’s development (no referral or diagnosis is required).

Course outline:

  • Understanding the underlying issues with Social Interaction and Social Communication difficulties
  • Why and how your child may be experiencing/reacting to certain situations and environments
  • Strategies to support the development of Social Interaction and Social Communication
  • Transitions and Anxiety
  • Help and support the development/encourage shared play/friendships and build confidence and independent skills.
