Is there a need in your community that nobody is addressing? Maybe it’s time to do it yourself. Then again, maybe it isn’t…
There are lots of questions to answer before deciding to set up a new organisation: “What’s the best legal structure?” “Which structure can get what funding?” “Why do people keep talking about constitutions?”
The session will cover:
• Proving the need for your organisation – to you and to funders
• Drafting a project outline
• Choosing the right legal structure
• Key sources of start-up funding
This free workshop is for those interested in starting a community project/organisation but who have yet to take that big leap. You will get valuable information on what you need to think about when starting, which will support both fundraising and successful service delivery.
Cost: Free to Liverpool based residents and organisations, £25 to those outside of Liverpool
