Steve Morgan Foundation- Meet the Funder Day
The Steve Morgan Foundation (SMF) – Meet the Funder Day is a completely free event that will give you an opportunity to find out more about the SMF’s application process, funding criteria and projects that they have supported.
The Foundation funds projects that make a positive difference to people’s welfare or quality of life in North Wales, Merseyside, Cheshire and North Shropshire. It improves opportunities and life choices for children and families, people with physical or learning disabilities, the elderly and those that are socially disadvantaged.
The day will consist of two parts - a morning presentation/Q&A session and a series of one-to-one surgeries. To ensure that as many organisations as possible benefit from the day, please book either the presentation OR a one-to-one surgery. Organisations are not permitted to attend both, so please read the following details carefully and decide which of the options best suits the current needs of your organisation.
Presentation followed by Q&A (FREE)
A presentation from 9.30am - 10.30am will introduce SMF funding streams and provide examples of previous grants awarded. This session is aimed at organisations that are planning to apply for a grant in the future but are not yet ready to submit an application.

The presentation will be followed by Q&A (10.30am-10.50am) that will answer any specific queries and expand on areas of interest.
One-to-one surgeries (FREE)
12 x 20 minute one-to-one sessions will be held between 11am-2pm for organisations with an identified community need, clear funding shortfall and successful track record, ready to apply for SMF funding. A reminder, these sessions are only available to organisations that have not registered to attend the presentation. Any organisation found to have registered for both will have their 121 session cancelled.
Places at these session are limited and will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis
