The role of a company secretary can be a difficult one, with deadlines and paperwork seemingly everywhere! Whilst the Companies Act 2006 may have removed the obligation to have a company secretary, the responsibilities behind the role remain, as well as the fines for non-compliance, so someone still has to do the things that used to be the job of the company secretary.
This course will provide participants with a grounding in the duties of the company secretary and provide them with the skills to be able to:
- Understand the duties associated with the role
- Complete the paperwork associated with the role, whether or not done by a company secretary or someone else
This course is suited to company secretaries, directors and staff members who are taking on the duties of the company secretary.
