The Learning Foundry and The Paper Cup Project are looking for participants for their brand new hospitality training programme.
The programme is for anyone who feels like they haven’t always had the opportunities to succeed, or who may have experienced homelessness in the past.
The course will provide new skills and confidence to step into work in the hospitality industry and each individual will get a personalised learning plan based on their individual goals.
This programme has been funded by the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority’s Adult Education Budget.
What the training programme includes:
Skills and personal development:
- Personal Budgeting
- Barista Skills
- Confidence Building
- CV Writing
- Interview Techniques
Qualifications:
- Level 1 Certificate in Occupational Studies
- Level 1 Award in Customer Service
- Level 2 Certificate in Hospitality and Catering Principles
- Level 2 Award in Food Safety for Catering
- Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid
Eligibility:
This opportunity is fully funded for people who meet the following criteria:
- Aged 19 or over
- Claiming a benefit
- Living in Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens, Halton, Knowsley or Wirral.
