Understanding the needs of Young Carers Bite Size

Do you know a young carer? Unsure if a young person you know is taking on caring responsibilities? Do you have a role to support young carers?

This bite size aims to increase the awareness of how we make Young Carers rights a reality, by supporting early identification of caring responsibilities and providing mental health support at the earliest opportunity. It will explore who is a young carer and reasons for hidden young carers, the impact of caring responsibilities and understanding their needs and what best practice looks like in order to support the mental health and wellbeing of all young carers.
