Using Creativity in the Community – Four Bespoke Training Workshops from Collective Encounters

Collective Encounters | Four standalone sessions across March & April 2022 | 10 am – 1 pm | Multiple Venues

These FREE training workshops are for people who volunteer or work with members of the community across Merseyside and want to embed some creativity into their practice. In March and April 2022, Abi Horsfield, Outreach Director at Collective Encounters, will facilitate four bespoke training workshops, aiming to encourage people who work with community groups to build their confidence in creativity.

Each workshop is standalone, so you can book in to attend any number of them.

Thursday 10 March 2022: 10 am – 1 pm.

Creativity for fun when working with groups – this is will focus on creative exercises which are playful, enabling people to have a laugh and not be self-conscious.

Friday 18 March 2022: 10 am – 1 pm.

Creativity to get group members sharing ideas – this will focus on asking the right questions and how to use creativity to build people’s confidence in having opinions and voicing arguments – enabling people to feel that their ideas are of value.
Venue: MDI, 24 Hope Street, Liverpool, L1 9BX.

Friday 25 March 2022: 10 am – 1 pm.

Creativity in evaluation – as nobody enjoys filling out forms, this will focus on how to enable people to evaluate their experiences through creative exercises and how these might be presented to a wider audience.
Venue: MYA SPACE, 106 Marsh Lane, Bootle L20 4JQ.

Friday 1 April  2022: 10 am – 1 pm.

Creativity to build a group – this will focus on creative ways to build teams and activities that encourage people to work together.
Venue: TBC (Liverpool or Knowsley).
