Webinar | The National Lottery Heritage Fund – Exploring Nature: Grants for Natural Heritage Projects (North West)

Training Date: 27 October 2022

Hosted by the National Lottery Heritage Fund | 2 – 4 pm on Thursday 27 October 2022 | Online

‘Exploring Nature’ is the National Lottery Heritage Fund’s first webinar to support those based in the North West of England looking for funding to start their own nature project. They will be focusing on grant requests between £3,000 – £100,000.

Their informal 2-hour session will explore:

  • how natural heritage can be used to transform places and change lives;
  • what a well-planned project looks like and;
  • how to write a strong funding application to The National Lottery Heritage Fund.

You will also have the opportunity to hear about what other natural heritage projects in the area have achieved and ask any questions you may have to their team of experts.

Who is this webinar for?

This webinar is for smaller not-for-profit organisations and groups based in the North West of England who are interested in leading their own natural heritage-focused project. You don’t have to be a nature/environment-focused organisation in order to attend.

You could be

  • A small charitable organisation e.g. a registered charity, C.I.C, trust
  • A community group e.g. a ‘friends of’ group
  • A representative from a parish council.

This webinar will be especially helpful for first-time applicants or those with limited funding experience.
