Carers Trust 4all is a registered charity with a vision for every carer to be recognised, supported and offered services to help them maintain their own health and wellbeing. Every day, an army of 7 million carers contribute their time and resources to help loved ones with care needs, often at the expense of their own health and wellbeing. Carers Trust 4all has a mission to provide services for carers and the people they support, ensuring no one is caring alone.
Carers Trust 4all is looking for new trustees to join an enthusiastic Board. Ideally, candidates will have strategic vision, independent judgement, and an ability to think creatively. Although passion and commitment are the most important qualities, candidates should have with experience in:
- Health and social care
- Accountancy
- Human Resources
The aim is to maintain a board where 50% of trustees are or have been carers themselves. The charity is particularly interested in applications from individuals who have an understanding of the needs of carers.
Carers Trust 4all works across Cheshire and Warrington, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Shropshire, and welcomes interest from across this footprint. Trustees will be given a full induction covering all aspects of the work. Travel and out of pocket expenses will be provided. The role will require a contribution of approximately one day per month.
