Update, Final Call & Prize Draw | Black-Led Non-Profit Funding Research

You may have seen that LCVS has been conducting research recently to find out about the barriers to funding that impact on organisations that identify as black-led.

We’ve been assisted in this by Liverpool City Region Combined Authority and John Moores University, who have been having these discussions on our behalf. One part of this research is the Funding Accessibility Survey.

We would like to thank all the groups that have engaged with the process so far.

Our survey is still open to get your views. It might take a little time to complete but it is important to us that we get as much detail from groups so we can improve how black-led groups can access funding.

As a thank you for completing the survey, respondents will be automatically enrolled into a prize draw to receive 5 hours of free one-to-one funding consultation services from LCVS.

If you have already completed the survey, you will be automatically entered into the draw.

Click here to complete the survey.

Deadline: 11.59 PM on Sunday 28 April 2024.

The winner of the draw will be notified by email by 5 PM on Friday 10 May 2024.

What happens next?

  1. We will analyse the results from the consultation and hope to share headline findings by Mid-June 2024
  2. We will convene participants and funders to explore the finding and co-produce solutions
  3. We will use these results to inform our planning and to influence and shape investment into the city-region for black led non-profits.

If you have any questions about this process, please let us know using the contact details in the survey.
