Vauxhall Community Law & Information Centre – Finance Officer

Contract: Permanent.
Term: Full-time, part-time and job shares considered.
Salary: PO2 £37,336 – £40,221.
Hours per week: 35 hours.
Reporting to: CEO.
Location: Hybrid working at office based in Vauxhall, Liverpool.

Vauxhall Community Law and Information Centre provides access to justice on a range of social welfare issues. Established in 1973, they support sick and disabled people, those affected by the cut to Universal Credit including people working in the gig economy and on a zero hours contract. They are an inclusive and non-discriminatory organisation. They work with and advocate for members of the community that face injustice, irrespective of gender, sexuality, ethnicity, religion, disability or immigration status. They take a strong stance against all forms of bigotry and work to challenge prejudice and injustice wherever they find it.

Job Summary

The Finance Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and stability of the Law Centre. You will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and assisting with budgeting and auditing processes. Your work will support the Law Centre’s operations and fundraising, helping them to deliver essential legal services to the community.
