Vauxhall Community Law & Information Centre – Welfare Rights and Advice Caseworker

Salary:  LA Payscale 5/6  £26,421  – £31,364 +7% Pension Contribution.
Hours per week: 35 hours.
Reporting to: CEO.
Location: Outreach based across the Liverpool City Region.

Vauxhall Community Law and Information Centre provides access to justice on a range of social welfare issues. Established in 1973, they support sick and disabled people, those affected by the cut to Universal Credit including people working in the gig economy and on a zero hours contract. Job Summary

To assist in providing an efficient and effective advice service, you will provide support and practical advice on welfare benefits, housing and debt. You will work as part of a team to ensure that their clients are receiving the best support available to help them.

You will be required to provide advice through various service delivery points, this post has a specific focus on providing advice at outreach locations across the city region, therefore you will be expected to provide advice at multiple locations throughout the week whilst liaising with outreach partners and community groups.
